The pressotherapy is contraindicated for pregnant women, people with PV - Deep Vein Thrombosis (formation of a blood clot, aka "thrombus", in a deep vein), acute infection of the affected limb, arrhythmia, decompensation and/or heart failure as well as people with any body pain or "numbness" or any type of cancer or kidney failure, as well as any case in which increased venous and/or lymphatic flow could be harmful. It is also forbidden to anyone taking anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics or anticoagulants.

The pressotherapyor also known as mechanical lymphatic drainageis an aesthetic treatment based on a mechanical compression system, controlled by a computer, which is operated using inflation pumps.
The device has five separate chambers, which are placed around the patient's limbs and abdominal area. The treatment consists of moving the venous and lymphatic flow from the ankles, progressively increasing to the upper thighs. This technique aims to activate return circulation (venous and lymphatic).
