The effect of laser hair removal can last from two to five years and can block the growth of up to 80% of hair. There are plenty of reasons to bet on laser hair removal as a great alternative to hair removal. Below we've listed some of the benefits that those who haven't yet had laser hair removal should consider. Smoother, softer skin Although during laser hair removal sessions you may notice some bumps or even irritation on the skin, during the healing process the skin becomes smooth and soft. A healthy appearance is one of the most sought-after features for those who have this laser treatment. Durability of laser hair removal Although laser hair removal is considered to be a more definitive hair reduction process, the method does reduce hair, in small or large quantities, for a certain period of time. Excellent cost-benefit ratio Despite being more expensive than other methods, its cost-benefit ratio is well worth it. This is because, after a certain number of sessions, the hair stops growing considerably. In other words, it's an investment made in the present so that in the future you won't have to worry about hair removal for a long time. No risk of skin darkening One of the disadvantages of shaving armpit hair, for example, is that it darkens over time. Laser hair removal and pregnancy

Are you pregnant or planning to become pregnant and want to know whether or not you can have diode laser hair removal at this time? Women always want to look their best, and especially at this time of pregnancy, it's even more essential! Trying to feel good about yourself may lead you to think that you should continue or even start laser hair removal treatments during pregnancy. All the more so because at this time, a woman's body goes through various hormonal changes, and in some cases, this can alter the hair cycle, giving a sensation of increased quantity in various areas of the body, such as the face, neck, décolleté and chest. However, as a precaution, our recommendation is that you should not undergo any type of diode laser hair removal treatment while pregnant or even while breastfeeding. There is no conclusive study on whether or not there are any long-term harmful effects for the woman or the baby caused by diode laser hair removal treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding. In addition, it is known that during pregnancy a woman's skin is much more sensitive, and exposure to any kind of strong light, radiation or electrical discharge can cause spots and other damage. Therefore, laser hair removal during pregnancy is not recommended. Which hair removal method should you use while pregnant? The recommended method of hair removal during pregnancy is to use a razor. Neither hot wax nor the use of any other depilatory cream is recommended at this stage. If you want to use another hair removal method, you should always seek the advice of your doctor.

Cavitation or radiofrequency?

In this article I'm going to explain a little about body treatments with aparatology. It's already summer, but there's still time to start your beauty treatments so that you're in great shape for the beach! You don't need summer to look good! Above all, the most important thing is to feel good about ourselves! I'm going to explain more specifically the difference between Cavitation and Radiofrequency. Sometimes there are doubts about which method to choose, so I decided to write this article so that you can better understand what each method is, understand the differences between Cavitation and Radiofrequency, and know which method is best for you. It's also important to understand that the direct effect of these methods is not weight loss, but rather the redefinition of the silhouette and volume reduction. That's why we don't use weight to determine whether or not the treatment has been successful, but rather the measurements of the area to be treated. Cavitation Cavitation uses ultrasound technology to shape the body and eliminate unwanted fat! It is recommended for people with obvious body volume. It's not just to remove localised fat. Generally, this treatment is carried out on the abdomen or thighs, where body volume is greatest. It's also important to know that with this method, you'll need to make sure your cholesterol is at the desired level, as it's not recommended for those with high cholesterol. To give you an idea of the results, in our slimming packages we advertise a reduction in volume in the abdominal area of at least 7 cm. And I can assure you, we've had clients lose 12 to 13 cm from the first session to the last. Radiofrequency Radiofrequency uses high frequency to shape the body and eliminate localised fat. In this case, you don't need to have a lot of body volume. It's also great for reducing cellulite. It can be done on the hips, buttocks, abdomen and arms. Advice for both treatments Either treatment does not work in just one session. We recommend a minimum of 10 sessions, and in the case of Cavitation, according to the results we've already seen, 15 sessions really is the best. It's also important to say that in either treatment, the use of the equipment alone is not enough. It is always necessary to do a lymphatic drainage massage or pressotherapy, so that the adipocytes that remain in the interstitial space are routed so that they can be collected by the lymphatic system and taken to the vascular system, where they will be sent to the liver to be metabolised. Since the liver doesn't distinguish between the fat present in food and the fat that undergoes cavitation, both are eliminated in the same physiological way, without overloading the liver. I also always advise my clients to take a walk for at least 15 minutes after each session. If you always do this, the results will be much better. Of course, the best thing would be to do some sport! Of course, all of these treatments are useless if you have a bad diet! Contraindications to these treatments These treatments are not recommended for: people suffering from cancer; those with pacemakers; those with liver disease; those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
