History

The Microblading was born at the beginning of the 19th century, when the use of the Tebori for tattooing by hand. This Tebori consists of several micro-needles superimposed side by side, which together form a kind of blade. This was a traditional Japanese art. The term Tebori means in Japanese: Te - hand and Hori - to carve or inscribe This technique has been brought to the present day, to draw the threading eyebrowsand called it microblading.

What's the process like?

To realise the microblading the Tebori to design eyebrow threading. The pigment is applied to the skin so that it looks as natural as possible. Small cuts are made in the skin, fixing the pigment to the epidermis. Generally, depending on the professional, an anaesthetic cream is used to reduce the sensation of pain.

The procedure takes around 1.5 hours and a touch-up is necessary after 1 month, as the pigment used can be expelled by the body or even change colour during this period. It is therefore normal that during this period your eyebrows may have some flaws or may change colour.

This procedure has a maximum lifespan of 2 years

Client diagnosis and follow-up

In this topic we'll explain specifically the diagnosis and follow-up of the client that we do in our spaces. It's normal for other spaces to be different.

On the day of the appointment, we do a pre-diagnosis of the person's face and check what effect they want.

Generally, we always suggest the most natural effect possible, following the lines on the face and the eyebrows the person already has.

After the diagnosis, we design the eyebrow with a pen so that the client can see where we are going to fill in.

After the client's approval, we proceed to Microblading.

Post-procedure

There are some issues that must be taken into account in the post-procedure phase so that the pigment used in the microblading and the effect lasts. To get some perfect eyebrowsAfter the procedure, you should use a specific regenerating cream for the following month. It should be applied several times a day (4 or 5 times or more) to leave the skin as moisturised as possible.

We recommend Post Treat Ointment by Arkana, which is available in our salons.

In the following month it's also normal to have some itching in the eyebrow, but it's not advisable to scratch or pull off the small scabs that form.

It is also not advisable to wear make-up for at least the first week, or to wash your face with very hot water.

Differences between microblading, micropigmentation and permanent make-up

Microblading is a completely manual process, in which the eyebrows are drawn thread by threadwith the help of the Tebori. It leaves a very natural look and is almost unnoticeable.

Micropigmentation a process also carried out on the eyebrow, in which the pigment is fixed with the help of a demographer (an electric device), which, in my opinion, makes for a heavier and less precise line.

The permanent make-upIt is a process similar to a tattoo, which makes the process truly definitive.

What is the best process?

The answer is not obvious, but in my opinion the microblading is the most recommended process, as it is completely manual, leaving its perfect eyebrows.

Who can do this procedure?

This procedure should be carried out by a trained and highly experienced professional, as it's a process that you can't afford to get wrong. Any small mistake can completely alter the features of a face.

In addition, the hygiene and safety rules stipulated for this type of procedure must be followed: new and sterilised blades, gloves, face mask, etc....
